Each year we advise clients on how to structure their assets before becoming tax resident in Ireland. Typically we advise ex-pats who have been working abroad for a number of years or persons who have lived abroad for a few years either for tax or family reasons.
We constantly work with foreign individuals moving to or living in Ireland to maximise the benefits of the special rules that apply to foreign (domiciled) individuals living in Ireland. This normally involves the structuring (or restructuring) of investment portfolios, bank accounts and employment arrangements. Significant tax savings can be made if matters are correctly structured in advance.
